JR4972Job DescriptionSTV is seeking an experienced and motivated **Transportation Engineering Specialist (EIT)** to design, and potentially manage, successful delivery of transportation infrastructure projects in Dallas, TX**Functions and responsibilities include:*** Design and prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for transportation infrastructure projects.* Evaluate feasibility and impacts of design alternatives.* Prepare calculations, technical analyses, reports, and other project related documents.* Independently lead tasks as a part of multi-disciplinary project teams.* Communicates professionally and effectively with teammates, clients, teaming partners, and other project stakeholders.* Assists with and participates in project pursuits and business development, under direction of senior staff.* Collaborating with other market leaders to identify and pursue new business opportunities, execute strategic plans, and foster strategic relationships with key clients, agencies, and partners.**Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.* Strong experience working with the Texas DOT, and other regional transportation agencies.* Design experience on highway and transportation infrastructure projects.* Successful completion of the FE exam (EIT certification) is required.* Excellent command of Microstation/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD/Civil3D to design and produce plans for transportation projects.* Demonstrated technical skills, communication skills and ability to work within diverse teams.* Active membership and participation in professional societies is encouraged.Compensation Range:$64,848.58 - $86,464.77STV offers the following benefits • Health insurance, including an option with a Health Savings Account • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care and Transit and Parking where applicable) • Disability insurance • Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment • 401(k) Plan • Retirement Counseling • Employee Assistance Program • Paid Time Off (16 days) • Paid Holidays (9 days) • Back-Up Dependent Care (up to 10 days per year) • Parental Leave (up to 80 hours) • Continuing Education Program • Professional Licensure and Society MembershipsSTV is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
