Job Description We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused
Automotive Service Advisor
to join our growing team. The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, ensuring a smooth, transparent, and positive service experience from start to finish.
We have plenty of work and a strong, established customer base, supported by a team of experienced, tenured technicians.
Responsibilities
Greet customers promptly and professionally
Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
Recommend necessary maintenance and repairs based on vehicle condition and manufacturer guidelines
Prepare and explain repair estimates and service timelines
Communicate with technicians regarding diagnostics and repair status
Keep customers informed throughout the service process
Promote additional services when appropriate
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Maintain accurate records in the service management system
Qualifications
Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic automotive knowledge required; technical background a plus
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Valid driver’s license
Proficient with computers and service software
