Help with presentations and tours to VIPs, potential hires, and prospective students.
Staff college fairs, STEM events, and help with other outreach efforts.
Plan and execute college and university events, such as Science vs Hollywood, Searing Scovilles, Darwin Day, Deans Day, Orientations, and other experiences.
Attend a monthly meeting to coordinate outreach efforts and receive training and professional development.
Provide service opportunities to serve the university and the community.
Must be a current UVU student.
Must be degree‑seeking and matriculated in a UVU College of Science program in one of the six departments: Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Exercise Science & Outdoor Recreation, Mathematics, or Physics.
Students must also have and maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and be in good standing with their academic department chair, the program advisor, and the College of Science Dean.

– Ability to effectively present and engage with diverse audiences including VIPs, potential hires, prospective students, and the general public.
Public Speaking and Presentation
– Comfortable speaking in front of groups and adapting delivery to various audiences and environments.
Collaboration and Teamwork
– Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, especially in coordinating outreach efforts and cross‑departmental events.
Adaptability and Problem‑Solving
– Resourceful and quick‑thinking when managing event details or addressing unexpected challenges.
Customer Service Orientation
– A welcoming and professional demeanor when interacting with guests, students, and community members.
Cultural Awareness and Inclusivity
– Sensitivity to diverse perspectives and backgrounds, ensuring inclusive and respectful outreach efforts.
