Part‑Time Program Coordinator (Independent Contractor)

Tulsa, OK | Hybrid | $15/hour

25–30 hours per week

Empower‑ED is seeking a dedicated and organized Part‑Time Program Coordinator to support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of our student‑focused initiatives.

This role is instrumental in helping students navigate postsecondary pathways, build essential life skills, and explore career opportunities. If you’re passionate about education, community engagement, and making a real impact, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

Assist in planning and executing Empower‑ED’s advising programs, summer initiatives, and workshops.

Serve as a liaison between students, educators, partners, and families.

Manage scheduling, logistics, and materials to ensure programs run smoothly.

Track data on student engagement and program outcomes, sharing updates with leadership.

Support volunteer recruitment, training, and coordination.

Help design and distribute outreach materials to grow awareness and engagement.

Provide administrative and operational support as needed.

What We’re Looking For

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Slack.

Experience in program coordination, event planning, or education‑related work (preferred).

Bilingual proficiency is a plus.

Passion for supporting students in their postsecondary and career journeys.
