Executive Assistant at United Surgical Partners International United Surgical Partners International (USPI) is the nation’s largest ambulatory surgery provider dedicated to delivering high‑quality, cost‑effective solutions in the communities we serve. This role supports the St. Louis Regional Office, assisting with administrative functions to maintain an organized flow of hospital operations.

Responsibilities

Maintain good public relations with persons entering the office, within the corporate structure, and in the community.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Maintain established hospital/departmental policies and procedures.

Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital‑related business.

Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with patients, physicians, families, visitors, and other hospital employees.

Understand USPI’s mission and EDGE, completing daily responsibilities in accordance with the standards outlined.

Type correspondence, reports, contracts, agreements and various specialized documents.

Organize and maintain filing systems; take minutes at hospital board meetings and other meetings as assigned.

Assist HR with online job posting and responses.

Perform new hiring onboarding responsibilities as requested.

Assist HR with functions between hospital and USPI.

Provide clerical and administrative support to HR Director.

Generate monthly administrator on‑call schedule.

Prepare spreadsheets, correspondence, and daily reports as needed.

Edit and type policies.

Manage the policy library (electronic and hard copy).

Serve as facility contract administrator.

Facilitate contract request process.

Validate all necessary items are procured for contract approval process.

Manage 120‑day expiration/renewal report in eCATS.

Assist executive with communication with contracted vendors.

Manage electronic contract file repository and hard‑copy repository.

Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent.

Typing speed of 55 words per minute.

Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, business correspondence and memos.

Ability to write complex correspondence.

Ability to present information effectively in group situations to patients, physicians, and other employees of the organization.

Ability to apply common‑sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions and to resolve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Ability to utilize an electronic health care record system for patient documentation.

Understanding of payroll systems and staffing coordination highly desirable.

Strong skills in Microsoft Suite products including Excel and Access to create professional reports.

At least two to six months of experience as an administrative assistant (hospital experience preferred).

Degree in business administration or certification from a clerical technical school.
