Location: Memphis, TN (Davidson County). This position is part of the Accreditation division of the Central Office Quality Compliance Team.

Salary (Monthly): $4,562.00 - $5,694.00 Salary (Annually): $54,744.00 - $68,328.00

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and at least four years of professional experience in counseling, case management, or program evaluations, with at least three years involving children/juveniles.
Substitution of Education for Experience:
Graduate coursework in social work, criminal justice, psychology, sociology, human services, or child development may substitute for up to one year of experience (no substitution for the required three years of children’s services work).
Substitution of Experience for Education:
One year as a DCS Program Specialist or DCS Case Manager 3 with the State of Tennessee may substitute for the required education.
Necessary Special Qualifications:
21 years of age or older
Citizen of the United States
Valid driver’s license
Good moral character
Completion of criminal history disclosure form
No felony conviction
Release of criminal history records to appointment authority
Fingerprint sample required
Pass pre‑employment drug screening
Overview The classification is responsible for children’s services program evaluation, coordination, and consultative work, including program policy and procedure development. They ensure programs and contracts comply with all relevant policies and may supervise subordinate staff.
Responsibilities
Implement statewide quality improvement initiatives and manage relationships with external stakeholders; maintain monthly reports on program placements and exceptions.
Communicate effectively with regions and other divisions to ensure accurate information for investigative tasks; strengthen partnerships with community agencies through presentations and collaboration.
Receive information from case management staff to approve necessary services for children entering custody and other needs within assigned program area.
Utilize review tools to assess field staff practice and skill; monitor service provision, network adequacy, identify service gaps, assess outcomes, and promote program improvement.
Driver Requirements (TN Driver Standards)
Valid driver’s license and no driving violations for the past five years (no DUI, reckless driving, license suspension for moving violations, or more than 4 moving violations).
