The Facilities Maintenance Manager is an integral team member responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and well‑maintained operations of our distribution center facilities. This role leads a team of maintenance technicians and the housekeeping team by managing and executing all maintenance, repair, and operational activities. The role also manages any external vendors such as electricians or forklift maintenance technicians. This position is perfect for a proactive problem solver with a passion for continuous improvement.
A day in the life as a Facilities Maintenance Manager
Manage, assign, monitor, and/or perform all maintenance, troubleshooting, and housekeeping duties to ensure the health and safety of the facility remains uninterrupted for business operations at a high level of customer service.
Oversee all communications regarding equipment, maintenance or operational issues to the management team on a daily basis.
Oversee repairs and solutions for electrical and mechanical systems for all material handling equipment and facility buildings.
Partner with the leadership team to manage performance and development of direct reports to encourage professional growth.
Coordinate and monitor maintenance equipment training and maintenance for the campus to ensure consistency and excellence of training and adherence to OSHA standards.
Monitor productivity and participate in reporting to ensure efficiency in the department.
Establish and maintain productive and professional relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure prompt, thorough, reliable and fiscally responsible service.
Oversee the timely implementation of preventative maintenance and repair procedures to maintain efficiency and safety of operations.
Implement company and OSHA guidelines and programs to contribute to a safe working environment for all associates.
Other duties as assigned.

Excellent reading, oral and written language skills in English, bilingual preferred.

Ability to operate hand tools, powered industrial trucks and other powered equipment necessary for facility maintenance.
Ability to interpret and guide the team using blueprints and schematic drawings.
Ability to drive continuous improvement and sustain results.
Ability to work under time constraints.
Team‑player with ability to work independently and collaboratively with flexibility to move between projects in a fast‑paced environment.
Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements, including GHS (Global Harmonized System for Hazardous Waste).
Knowledge of general maintenance procedures and requirements (e.g., documentation, reporting, state and federal regulations).
Maintains an awareness of loss prevention, security, and safety following the guidelines as outlined in Company Code of Conduct and Associate Policy manuals.
