Position Overview And Purpose This role will be directly responsible for coordinating and performing a wide variety of administrative projects, including assisting in the accounts payable and receivable process, and supporting employee-focused activities at the facility.

Essential Functions And Basic Duties

Research and resolve accounting and payroll issues.

Provide financial status information by preparing special reports; completing special projects as needed.

Check documents for validity and accuracy of information; perform mathematical calculations; record and file related paperwork and documents.

Ensure all invoices are properly approved and coded to the general ledger.

Perform the data entry of invoices and balancing in the accounting system.

Maintain vendor records and vendor database.

Perform other duties and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma required. Associate's degree or above preferred.

Must have at least three years of accounting experience.

Must be proficient in mathematics, accounting and MS Office.

Must be organized, detail‑oriented and be able to work under tight deadlines.

Possess an understanding of general ledger and how to categorize expenses.
