Team: K40 RADIOGRAPHIC INSPECTION
Entity: Newport News Shipbuilding
Shift: 3rd
Location: Newport News, VA
Responsibilities Performs radiographic inspections on castings, piping welds, pressure vessel welds, and structure welds in shops and on‑board naval vessels. This individual is responsible for the safe operation of radioactive sources and safety of personnel assigned to both permanent and temporary radiographic areas.
Qualifications Must Have
High School diploma or equivalent; must be able to work assigned shift as production needs; must be able to pass and maintain IRRSP 3rd party certification examinations.
