Overview Performs radiographic inspections on castings, piping welds, pressure vessel welds, and structure welds in shops and on‑board naval vessels. The individual is responsible for the safe operation of radioactive sources and the safety of personnel in radiographic areas. Must maintain IRRSP 3rd‑party certification exams.
Responsibilities
Conduct radiographic inspections on castings, piping, pressure vessels, and structural welds.
Operate and manage radioactive sources safely.
Ensure personnel safety in temporary and permanent radiographic areas.
Maintain documentation and comply with safety regulations.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
0 years experience required.
Must be able to work assigned shift as production needs.
Pass and maintain IRRSP 3rd‑party certification examinations.
Preferred
Any additional experience in radiographic inspection.
