Requirements & Qualifications
Current ServSafe, Tips, Allergy, and Choke Safer certifications
Proven experience managing kitchen operations and personnel
Strong understanding of inventory control, scheduling, and budgeting
Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
Preferred Background & Skills
Experience conducting performance reviews and cross‑training staff
Familiarity with seasonal menu planning and product sourcing
Ability to maintain detailed maintenance and inventory records
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Write and manage kitchen schedules in alignment with labor budgets
Enforce high standards for cleanliness, food quality, and safety
Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and cost control
Hire, train, and support kitchen staff, fostering ongoing development
Conduct performance and station reviews, providing clear feedback
Track waste, monitor prep and line checks, and manage ticket times
Communicate effectively regarding menu updates and product changes
Maintain cleaning schedules and equipment maintenance records
