Technical Research Agronomist – U.S. /Texas
Ag 1 Source is seeking a Technical Research Agronomist for a leading global agricultural company. The ideal candidate is an experienced agronomist based in Texas who will help lead business initiatives to support and promote the company’s product lines, primarily in Texas, while also contributing across the organization’s full trade territory with travel in the US and some international.

What you will be doing:
Promote products across the U.S., utilizing strong agronomic research practices
Support, design, and manage field trials for product performance
Establish and strengthen customer and industry relationships
Educate growers, retailers, and distributors on technical agronomic practices
Manage and expand business opportunities within the assigned region
Apply agronomic expertise across row crops, small grains, T&O, vegetables, and other crop segments
Mentor and collaborate with sales teams, growers, and distribution partners
Provide expert-level technical support internally and externally
Write and publish articles in peer-reviewed and industry journals
Qualifications:
Master’s degree or PhD in an agriculture-related discipline
Minimum of 10 years of industry experience
Willingness to travel 35%+ annually, including some international travel
Compensation:
Competitive compensation up to $150,000
