About the Role As Group Home Manager, you will supervise caregivers, ensure high‑quality care, and support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a community setting.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP).
Supervise a team of caregivers, managing staffing, training and scheduling.
Provide direct support including daily activities, meal preparation, medication administration and personal care.
Assist with total care tasks such as feeding, changing, transferring clients, and manual and mechanical lifting.
Accompany clients to community outings and provide transportation as needed.
Manage administrative duties, including program activity planning.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of caregiver experience in a professional setting.
Supervisor experience preferred.
Full and valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months.
Reliable vehicle with valid registration and insurance.
Physical ability to perform caregiving duties, including manual and mechanical lifting.
Availability for on‑call shifts, nights, weekends and 12/16 hour shifts.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
High school diploma or equivalent for those 20 years of age or younger.
Must be 18 years or older.
Valid driver’s license, car registration and auto insurance required.
Any required licensure or certification by regulatory authority.
Ability to attend 2 weeks of paid orientation (Mon‑Fri 8:00am‑5:00pm).
