Pay Range:

YWCA Midtown – 2121 E Lake St, Minneapolis, MN
What You’ll Do The Youth Counselor serves youth ages 7–17 in the Strong Fast Fit afterschool program, a holistic wellness initiative focused on mind, body, and spirit. This role provides direct service to youth by implementing culturally relevant, engaging programming while building strong, supportive relationships. Youth Counselors collaborate closely with Strong Fast Fit staff and the broader Girls & Youth team to create a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for BIPOC youth and their families.
Create and lead age‑appropriate, culturally responsive, and engaging wellness activities for small and large groups of youth
Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive afterschool environment that supports physical and emotional well‑being
Build meaningful relationships with youth participants and contribute to participant engagement and retention
Assist with meal preparation and daily program logistics for 10–30 students
Support other Girls & Youth programs as needed
