\*\* Internal Workers – Please log into your Workday account to apply \*\*### **Expectations:**Job Title: Stationary Engineer UnlimitedDepartment: Plant OperationsShift Duration: 8Primary Shift: EveningsTime Type: Full timeLocation: 100 W California Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91105Pay Range: The estimated base rate for this position is $38.39 - $58.55.Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.Operates and maintains stationary gas and oil-fired boilers and auxiliary equipment in supplying steam for other than power generating purposes, adjusts fuel and air, starts pumps, regulates steam flow, checks gauges, maintains and repairs equipment. Operates and maintains chillers and auxiliary equipment. This position may require flexibility of hours.

**EDUCATION:**

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

**EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:**

Minimum five (5) years relevant experience as a stationary engineer, preferably in a hospital setting.

**LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:**

Required:

EPA Section 608 Universal Certificate issued by US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

Current California (CA) Driver's License

Current Steam Engineer - Unlimited Horsepower (HP) License issued by City of Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety

**SKILLS:**

Knowledge of materials and tools of the trade.

Is proficient in skilled repair by having knowledge in mechanics, pneumatics, electric, electronics, hydraulics, refrigeration, steam systems and chemistry.
