\*\* Internal Workers – Please log into your Workday account to apply \*\*### **Expectations:**Job Title: PlumberDepartment: Plant MaintenanceShift Duration: 8Primary Shift: DaysTime Type: Full timeLocation: 100 W California Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91105Pay Range: The estimated base rate for this position is $34.00 - $51.00.Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.The Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems within the hospital facility, as well as other daily operational task ensuring a safe and properly functioning operation. This includes, but not limited to water, gas, drainage, medical gas, and sewage systems to comply with health and safety regulations. This role requires working with minimal supervision and responding to emergency plumbing issues to maintain hospital operations. Plumber will ensure the hospitals infrastructure supports daily operations effectively, ensuring safe and proper use of equipment and tools, reporting accidents, and participates in emergency responses. This position may require occasional nights and weekends.
**EDUCATION:**
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Valid certification or license in your trade preferred.
**E****XPERIENCE/TRAINING:**
Minimum five (5) years relevant experience in commercial plumbing, preferably in healthcare.
Computer proficiency required.
**LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:**
Required:
Current California (CA) Driver's License
Preferred:
Current Journey Level PS certificate issued by City of Los Angeles Dept. of Building and Safety
**SKILLS:**
Knowledge of the trade practices and codes, and ability to supervise and train others in their use.
Knowledge of materials and their applications.
Basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and a collaborative problem solver.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
