Seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (PA or APRN) to join the Department of Geriatrics supporting outpatient and long-term care in a rural setting.
Provide comprehensive care to adult patients, including diagnosing, treating, and managing geriatric illnesses and chronic diseases.
Work alternating weekly between outpatient clinics and residential long-term care facilities, including telephonic nurse advice.
Perform examinations, order and interpret diagnostics, and conduct minor procedures such as laceration repairs and foreign body removals.
Collaborate with healthcare teams, develop treatment plans, and ensure high standards of patient care and safety.
Maintain clinical competency, stay updated on geriatric medicine, and adhere to protocols.
Qualifications include relevant certifications and licensure, with experience in internal medicine preferred.
