We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Mental Health Counselor to join our SLO‑Hub program. Under the direction of the SLO‑Hub Program Supervisor and in collaboration with the contract clinical supervisor, you will provide assessment and therapeutic intervention for clients. Your expertise in psychotherapy and various treatment modalities will be crucial in supporting individuals with dual‑diagnosed disorders.
What you bring to the table:
Must have one of the following licenses:
Licensed Marriage Family Therapist
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Associate Clinical Social Worker
Clinical Psychologist
Associate Professional Clinical Counselor
Required : AA/AS Degree and at least 3 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling at least 5 years in administrative/financial roles.
Preferred : Experience with data entry, payment systems, accounts payable, or other finance/information technology areas.
As the Mental Health Counselor you will:
Process program expenditures, including vouching invoices and documenting cost allocations.
Prepare and submit paperwork for Accounts Payable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in vendor invoices and financial transactions.
Review and compute program donations and grants, assisting with program spending and projections.
Prepare and route independent contractor agreements for review and signature.
Process provider payments, dues, family fees, and reimbursements.
Compile information for financial analysis and reporting.
Provide ongoing support for updating projections related to staffing, cost allocation, and cost fluctuations.
Assist program staff with purchase requisitions and communicate financial procedures.
Attend department meetings and planning sessions.
Provide training and support to various teams on fiscal policies and procedures.
