At MATE, we deliver the trucks and machines that keep cities running: street sweepers, sewer cleaners, hooklifts, vac trucks, and other specialty equipment essential to municipal and contractor operations. We’re looking for a driven, experienced sales pro to take the lead in our
New Jersey territory
and make a meaningful impact from day one.

What You’ll Do This is a field‑based sales role focused on building long‑term relationships, identifying equipment needs, and delivering practical, high‑impact solutions. You’ll work directly with public works departments, contractors, and fleet operators to keep their operations moving.
Meet with customers throughout
New Jersey
Demo equipment, quote solutions, and close deals
Manage your schedule and pipeline with the independence of a business owner
Collaborate with your local branch in
New Castle, DE
for support, parts, and service coordination
You’ll Excel Here If
You have direct
B2B
experience selling heavy equipment or vocational trucks
You’ve successfully sold to municipalities and understand public‑sector procurement and relationship building
You thrive in a high‑performing, team‑oriented environment and enjoy helping customers succeed
You’re mechanically minded and comfortable talking through
specs, hydraulics, electrical systems , and performance factors
You’re confident in the field, at ease behind the wheel, and enjoy the variety that comes with working in equipment sales
You build trust quickly and become your customer’s first call when they need solutions
You're able to lift up to 50 lbs and easily get in/out of large vehicles and equipment
You have a
clean driving record
and are willing to obtain a CDL (we’ll sponsor and support)
