Program Administrator GME
At HCA Healthcare, the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program Administrator supports the administrative, operational and financial management functions of residency/fellowship training programs, enabling an optimal learning environment for all trainees.
Job Summary and Qualifications The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of ACGME accreditation, hospital policies, and exhibit initiative and independent judgment.
Responsibilities
Manage day‑to‑day operations of one or more residency or fellowship programs.
Coordinate and organize program recruitment, including the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) process.
Ensure compliance with accreditation requirements for the program, residents, and faculty.
Prepare and maintain required program and resident documentation.
Coordinate onboarding and orientation for residents and fellows.
Act as the resident/fellow liaison to secure a positive educational experience.
Oversee programmatic events and processes, such as curricular activities, assessments, budget planning, ACGME updates, accreditation site visits, and more.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting (preferably GME or education).
TAGME certification highly regarded.
Knowledge of residency management systems (MedHub or New Innovations) preferred.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF software, online meeting platforms, and email.
Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
