JBS & Associates Accountants & Consultants Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Clerk to support our accounting and consulting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining financial and administrative data while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity. This role plays a vital part in supporting accountants, consultants and administrative staff.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately enter financial client and administrative data into internal systems and databases Review and verify data for accuracy, completeness and compliance with company standards Maintain and update client records, invoices, payroll data and accounting documents Scan file and organize physical and electronic documents Assist with basic reporting and data retrieval for accounting and consulting teams Identify and correct data discrepancies in a timely manner Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial and client information Support other administrative tasks as assigned Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree is a plus) Proven experience as a data entry clerk, administrative assistant or similar role preferred Strong typing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with accounting software is a plus Basic understanding of accounting or financial data is preferred Ability to meet deadlines and handle repetitive tasks efficiently Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Employment Type:
