Job Description The Associate Director, HH Strategic Initiatives Communications will support the execution of communications for major Human Health strategic initiatives. Reporting to the Director, Global Communications, this role will manage day‑to‑day communications activities, develop content and ensure timely, coordinated delivery of initiative‑ and transformation‑related materials.
Key Responsibilities
Develop initiative‑related communications, including messaging, presentations, internal updates and project documentation.
Translate program milestones into clear, concise content for employees and stakeholders.
Support the development of messaging frameworks and communication deliverables that reinforce initiative and transformation clarity and alignment.
Work closely with PMO teams, business leads, HR, Corporate Affairs and other enterprise partners to coordinate rollout of communication activities.
Track timelines, deliverables and dependencies to support timely and consistent execution.
Coordinate feedback and reviews across stakeholder groups to ensure accuracy and alignment.
Apply foundational change communications principles to help drive employee understanding and adoption of initiative outcomes.
Identify gaps in clarity or engagement and surface recommended messaging adjustments.
Partner closely across the Pan HH and Executive Communication teams to ensure communications reflect leadership direction and initiative priorities.
Contribute to a collaborative, accountable team culture aligned with Human Health communications expectations.
Qualifications Required Experience and Skills
5–7 years of experience in corporate, internal or change communications.
Strong writing, editing and narrative development skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
Experience supporting initiatives, organizational change or multi‑stakeholder program environments.
Ability to manage multiple deliverables, maintain strong attention to detail and operate effectively in dynamic environments.
Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working across functions and levels.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare or another highly regulated industry.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, business or related field.

Work Arrangement Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office‑based positions in the U.S. will be working a hybrid model consisting of three total days on‑site per week, Monday‑Thursday, with Friday designated as a remote‑working day, unless business critical tasks require an on‑site presence. The hybrid work model does not apply to field‑based, manufacturing‑based, or research‑based positions; positions covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement; or any position for which the Company determines remote work cannot reasonably meet job requirements.
Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $126,500.00 – $199,100.00 (based on education, qualifications, experience, geographic location, and business needs). Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive, where applicable.
