Implant Case Prep Specialist (3Shape)

Overview We’re seeking a detail‑oriented Implant Case Prep Specialist to join our growing digital dentistry team. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for preparing implant cases before they reach the design phase. Your keen eye for accuracy, implant knowledge, and 3Shape expertise will help ensure every case is set up correctly — laying the groundwork for high‑quality, error‑free designs.
What You'll Do
Import and organize intraoral scans, scan bodies, and prescriptions for implant cases.
Identify and verify implant parts such as scan bodies, stock abutments, custom abutments, and transfer copings.
Compare the calculator, DME, and order forms to detect inconsistencies.
Add clear notes and screenshots for the Design team to ensure seamless case handoff.
Conduct quality checks and adhere to standard operating procedures.
Identify and flag potential issues, communicating them promptly to the Scan Rejection team.
What We're Looking For
Familiarity with dental implants, scan bodies, and abutments.
2–3 years of hands‑on experience with 3Shape.
Ability to identify critical details in scans and X‑rays, especially scan body positioning.
Thrives in a high‑volume, deadline‑driven environment.
Comfortable working closely with design and leadership teams to ensure quality outcomes.
Bonus Points For
Confidence interpreting X‑rays for implant case validation.
Any formal education or training in implantology.
Proactive troubleshooting and resolving prep‑related challenges.
Work Environment
Comfortable working at a computer for extended periods.
Collaborative mindset with readiness to work across shifts and teams.
