Overview Location: Low Country Cancer Care Pay Range: $15.83 - $26.38 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
Provide quality patient service by greeting patients, collecting information and payments, scheduling appointments, and maintaining medical records.
Create and maintain patient charts in EMR and billing systems for new and hospital consult patients.
Accurately record and communicate consults to physicians, handle schedule changes, and manage physician appointments.
Check‑in patients per clinic policy, verify demographics, collect co‑pays, and document payments.
Schedule appointments, follow‑ups, referrals, and outside testing as ordered by physicians.
Prepare daily close deposit, balance cash drawer, and distribute documents.
Handle phone calls, route messages, and provide patient assistance.
Maintain fax server, medical records, and daily reports.
Perform other patient services station duties as trained and cover absences or vacations.
Key Performance Areas
Maintain accurate EMR charting and billing.
Manage physician schedules and clinic efficiency.
Ensure timely collection of payments and accurate financial records.
Deliver exceptional patient experience and support clinic operations.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma; Associates degree a plus.
Minimum one year healthcare field; physician office preferred.
Patient/customer focus, attention to detail, and strong multitasking ability.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Core Capabilities
Analytical & critical thinking, organization, and time management.
Interpersonal effectiveness, emotional intelligence, conflict management.
Communication skills, understanding of English, English second language optional.
Customer service, organizational awareness, business acumen.
Self‑management, work independently, remote work ability.
Fast‑paced, multi‑site environment, juggling priorities.
Computer skills: MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Standard Core Workdays/Hours Monday to Friday 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
