In this role, you will lead and mentor a distributed engineering team while actively contributing to code development, shaping both the technical and cultural foundation of the product. You will architect, design, and build scalable SaaS solutions, ensuring high-quality, secure, and performant software. Accountabilities
Lead, mentor, and coach a distributed team of developers, fostering high performance and accountability
Architect, design, and implement scalable, secure, and production-grade C#/.NET SaaS applications
Contribute hands-on to coding, code reviews, and setting technical standards for the team
Drive agile development practices, including sprint planning, CI/CD, and continuous delivery
Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
Represent engineering in leadership discussions and cross-functional decision-making
Ensure high standards for code quality, performance, scalability, and security
Requirements
7+ years of professional software development experience, focused on C#/.NET
2+ years in a technical leadership, team lead, or player/coach role
Proven experience managing remote and outsourced engineering teams
Strong understanding of SaaS architecture and cloud-based systems
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern agile methodologies
Excellent communication skills and ability to align technical execution with business goals
Comfortable balancing leadership responsibilities with deep technical involvement
Nice to Have
Experience in data protection, backup, and recovery solutions
Familiarity with Product-Led Growth (PLG) tools or strategies
Exposure to front-end frameworks, particularly Blazor
Previous experience in startup or high-growth environments
