Schedule / Shift Monday – Friday , 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (hours may vary depending on business needs)

Compensation $85–$100k annual , depending on experience

Location Non‑building specific – location based on business needs

Job Purpose Inventory Control Warehouse Manager responsible for managing the daily operations of the department across multiple facilities, ensuring adequate inventory of products and services in accordance with inventory cycles and organizational philosophy. Conduct daily inventory analysis, resolve inventory problems, and implement control procedures. Coordinates and manages daily physical counts with training and team management. Reports to the General Manager of Warehousing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage and maintain physical inventory of external customers.

Communicate with customer representatives regarding inventory issues, including causes and resolutions.

Implement and maintain policies and procedures related to inventory control, ensuring accuracy of warehouse inventory and product flow analysis.

Ensure division follows government regulations (FDA & AIB) and compliance, maintaining AIB policy and procedures.

Perform all recall and quality holds for operation – assign and release holds based on feedback from QA or QRC.

Develop employees through training on policy & procedures.

Maintain open lines of communication to create a cohesive organization.

Set up warehouses: pick fronts, storage, allocations, chaining, etc.

Identify operational problems and provide detailed action steps required to correct them.

Develop and consistently execute the cycle count program to ensure inventory and location accuracy (including aisle audits, empty slot reports, and special counts for high‑value items).

Train production management and QA personnel on proper methods for resolving quality, production, and inventory related issues in the site’s warehouse management system.

Plan labor.

Communicate inventory issues with Operations Manager, Shift Managers, and Shift Supervisors.

Respond to special project requests from clients.

Generate and distribute weekly reports summarizing inventory accuracy through cycle counts.

Manage Peco & Chep pallet management.

Job Complexity

Management skills and ability to manage a staff of employees – 7 direct reports.

Hire, train, coach, and mentor; hold all warehouse staff accountable.

Lead or support IT modification projects.

Maintain organized, neat, and orderly operation as it pertains to Inventory Control.

Ensure all project and client KPIs are met or exceeded.

Knowledge of reporting requirements as it pertains to co‑pack.

Good communication, problem resolution, and people skills.

Qualifications

Effective communication skills in English (read, write, speak).

5–10 years of Warehouse Management experience.

3PL experience a plus.

Synapse WMS experience a plus.

Ability to report/track trending and historical data.

Strong business writing and case analysis skills.

Intermediate Microsoft Office Excel; basic knowledge of Access, data entry, and general computer abilities.

Experience in warehouse safety and safety training.

Physical Requirements

Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Articulate and comfortable speaking in front of others.

Work in an indoor/office environment and required to sit and/or use repetitive hand motion.

Frequently required to talk, hear, stand, and walk.

Able to work in excess of continuous 8 hours when required.

Work under stressful situations, maintain work accuracy, and concentrate on more than one task at a time.
