The D103 Instructional Technology Team believes that three words guide all of our work; equip, explore, empower. The primary function of the technology specialist is to act as the front line of technology support for the faculty, staff, and students at Half Day School (grades 3‑5). This role will also support district‑wide technology initiatives at the discretion of the Director of Technology & Assessment. Required Skills

Building Technology Support

Develop and maintain a strong customer service approach with staff, students, and families Utilize the district’s technology support ticket system (FMX) to manage support requests from both faculty and staff, and complete in a timely manner Work alongside the building Technology Coach to support and implement the school’s technology plan Manage, maintain, inspect, and facilitate repairs, as needed, for all classroom technology to ensure it is working per the District vision Configure and manage technology components to support district assessments Device and Software Management

Learn and help manage, deploy, and install technology, including iPads, Mac and Windows computers, classroom video and audio equipment, printers, etc. Learn and help manage district and school software such as Google Workspace, student information system, mobile device management system, Learning Platforms, and various other learning and management tools Provide, create, and curate training and documentation for school and district hardware and software. Preferred Qualifications

College Degree or equivalent certifications School District experience Technical support experience Printer support experience Training experience and/or willingness to learn Physical Requirements

Moderate degree of physical stamina. Ability to move freely to various locations within school settings. Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and bending. Lifting of devices 40‑80 lbs. Climbing of ladders 6’-10’. Exposure to noise and activity in a school setting. Reports To
