Job Overview
The Psychological Sciences Department is seeking a Full-Time Research Assistant to support Dr. Maria Diehl's laboratory. The assistant will help with experimental projects, order supplies, maintain inventory and lab records, and share duties with lab members to care for research animals, run behavioral experiments, collect data, and keep the lab organized. The role also involves tissue processing, performing tissue assays, and taking microscope pictures.

Order supplies and maintain updated inventory and lab records.
Care for research animals, including handling and monitoring.
Collect data and maintain organized research records.
Assist with tissue processing, performing assays, and microscope imaging.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
Education beyond the minimum may count toward required experience if deemed relevant by hiring manager.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years lab experience with animal handling.
Experience with animal tracking software (e.g., AnyMaze).
Proficiency with Excel and coding (RStudio or Python).
