The Kenos History Kenos Family Restaurant has been a part of the Canyon since its inception in 1983. The Cooper family has owned and operated the business since July 21 1993. For the past thirty years Kenos has grown with the Canyon. But one thing at Kenos has stayed the same throughout the decades: the food & the people.

Although the times have changed and food trends come and go, our world‑famous pancakes and famous fried chicken are still some of Kenos best sellers! Our pancakes have been made the same way (with our same super secret recipe) for the past thirty years! As for our Famous Fried Chicken… Kenos has deemed Tuesday Night as Chicken Night since its opening back in 1983.

Job Summary:

We seek a dynamic and enthusiastic Lounge Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and a knack for upselling premium alcoholic beverages. As a Lounge Server you will ensure our guests have an outstanding experience by providing attentive service and promoting our extensive selection of drinks.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.

Take and serve food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.

Upsell premium alcoholic beverages and suggest drink pairings to enhance the guest experience.

Maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu including ingredients and preparation methods.

Ensure all orders are delivered promptly and correctly.

Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or requests.

Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lounge area.

Follow all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a server or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.

Strong knowledge of alcoholic beverages including wines, spirits, and cocktails.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to upsell and promote products effectively.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Must be of legal drinking age.
