This is an initial three-year term, with the possibility of renewal *p*ending staffing, operational, curricular, and financial needs and by successfully meeting the criteria for evaluation and reappointment. Consistent with the Wellesley College-WOAW Collective Bargaining Agreement, the Assistant Teaching Professor will be expected to serve as a first-year advisor (no more than six students) and majors and minors in Spanish. No more than 14 advisees (including first-year advisees) will be assigned to the Assistant Teaching Professor. Service and Professional Development expectations shall be aligned with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.**Basic Qualifications:**Applicants should have native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English. Advanced degree is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in Second Language Acquisition and Language Pedagogy.
