Position Helicopter Mechanic & Avionics Technician.

Location Malmstrom AFB (Outside of Great Falls, MT).

Company Overview Our Client delivers comprehensive, state‑of‑the‑art services in the aerospace & defense sectors.

Program Overview This position will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks to support a fleet of MH-139 at Malmstrom AFB Montana.

Job Description

Adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring systems and aircraft accessories, performs preflight, thru‑flight, and post‑flight maintenance inspections, performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including flushing crankcase, cleaning screens, and filters, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes.

Cleans parts using cleaning solutions and polishing and lapping compounds.

Performs aircraft maintenance transit inspections and fault resolution.

Performs work under general supervision.

Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher‑level staff.

Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.

Qualifications

Minimum of 6+ years of experience as a helicopter mechanic or avionics technician.

Experience with Air Force Forms and Technical Orders (TOs).

Must have the ability to get an Interim Secret Clearance or possess an Active Secret Clearance.

Driver's license required.

Work Environment

24/7 shop- must be willing to work different shifts

Compensation

Straight Time

: $35.75 an hour (taxed).

Overtime

: $53.63 an hour (taxed).

Daily Per Diem

: $178 a day (for days worked).

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Denver, CO.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.75 - $35.75/hr.
