HELICOPTER MECHANIC
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks to support a fleet of MH-139 at Malmstrom AFB, Montana in accordance with United States Air Force approved maintenance procedures.
Responsibilities
Perform aircraft maintenance transit inspections and fault resolution.
Adjust, repair, or replace electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories, perform preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections, and perform miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including flushing crankcase, cleaning screens and filters, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes.
Cleans parts using cleaning solutions and polishing and lapping compounds.
Perform work under general supervision.
Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Possess solid working knowledge of subject matter.
Qualifications
Secret Clearance (interim Secret to start).
HS diploma or equivalent.
Technicians must have a minimum of four (4) years aviation experience.
Must be able to pass DOT ground support physical.
Driver's license required.
Must apply for US Passport within 30 days of hire or provide proof of valid US Passport.
