What you’ll do: The Brass Tacks

Maintains standards for food and beverage quality, presentation, handling, sanitation and safety

Follows all appropriate policies and procedures

Serves food and beverage to guests and provides quality customer service

Advises guests, clients and team members on matters relating to food and beverage offerings

Communicates directly with the Culinary and Stewarding teams during service to ensure proper client and guest service is being achieved

Coordinates the timing of each course to correspond with the dining pace of the guests

Assists in the acquisition of special equipment needed for banquet functions

Conducts a briefing or “line‑up” with team members at the beginning of each shift in order to keep staff informed of updates, changes and/or problematic situations

Represents the club as the point of contact during events, acts as a liaison between guests and team members, responds and works to resolve guest issues and concerns as necessary.

The Nitty Gritty

At least two years of experience in a high volume, quality banquet service operation; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

Previous food & beverage supervisory experience

Basic computer literacy in the Point of Sale system and the sales and catering computer application

Current State Food Handling and Liquor Serving License(s)

Wooded enclaves, rolling terrain and wide fairways are touted by the Cascade Course, with a long history of providing Championship golf in the Northwest. Stunning views and delicious cuisine combine to offer relaxation and great memories under the roof of Gold Mountain's clubhouse, as well as the ability to host 300 guests for special events. All classes of golfer - from novice to scratch - will find an enjoyable, playable experience. The outstanding conditioning of the courses matched the beauty of the setting. Gold Mountain Golf Club has hosted the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship and the 2015 NCAA Men's Regional Championship.
