Description Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment Team. Our customers include both the U.S. Military and international governments and organizations. This role supports an active Navy ship and the San Diego Ship Rider Team by maintaining the integrity of data stored within the Joint Strike Fighter Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS). The successful candidate will serve as the point of contact during flight and evaluation activities while maintaining system functionality and may deploy with the ship for 2 weeks to 6 months or longer.

Responsibilities

Interacting daily with users and ALIS/LM leadership.

System/database/software/firewall/account maintenance and monitoring.

Maintaining smooth, secure operation of multi‑user computer systems through coordination with peers, Tier 2, and engineers.

Performing laptop re‑image, troubleshooting, and account maintenance.

Regular monitoring of systems/applications for availability and performance.

Training ALIS Administrators and users on the ALIS system as needed.

Basic Qualifications

Secret security clearance or higher with a current investigation (within the last 5 years).

Completed DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA).

IT experience in system/database/network/mission planning administration.

Ability to work at deployed CONUS/OCONUS locations, support rotating shifts, and work over 40 hours per week as required.

Adherence to the REAL ID Act for state‑issued driver’s licenses and identification cards.

Desired Skills

Experience troubleshooting applications.

Account maintenance with Active Directory, Oracle, or CRM.

Disaster recovery: backups and restores of physical servers, virtual machines, databases, and network equipment.

Virtual machine management (Hyper‑V/VMware).

Hardware maintenance/upgrades and rack component startup/shutdown.

Applying updates, anti‑virus/anti‑spyware, and patch updates.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administration.

Importing/exporting large data volumes.

Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, including JSF ALIS hardware and software.

Experience supporting the U.S. military or foreign military services.

U.S. DoD Top Secret clearance.

Pay Range The annual base salary range for this position varies by location: $85,500 – $150,765 in most states, increasing to $98,300 – $170,315 in major metropolitan areas of California, Massachusetts, and New York. The range reflects scope, responsibilities, experience, education, and market factors.
