Join the Border Tire team! Border Tire is hiring an Account Coordinator in Paramount, CA. The Account Coordinator is responsible for inspecting truck and trailer tires to ensure efficient operation and compliance.
Responsibilities
Inspects truck and/or trailer tires for excessive wear, bulges, cuts, and damaged tread.
Inspects tires on light, medium, and heavy‑duty trucks.
Responsible for proper inspection of wheels and tires, balancing wheels, and making sure tires are the correct fit.
Maintains all inventories and tire equipment.
Disposes of damaged/old tires in accordance with state regulations.
Ensures tires are functioning properly and within the Department of Transportation and Occupational Safety and Health Act Compliance.
Safely operates all tools and equipment while working in a hazardous environment (around vehicles, moving parts, power tools, commercial tires, etc.).
Tire Inspector Technicians will be placed in the on‑call rotation. The schedule is generally posted at the beginning of every month and is subject to change based on business needs and staff requirements.
Qualifications
Must have a current, valid driver’s license for the state in which the employee performs driving duties.
Must maintain a clean driving record, i.e., must remain insurable under the company’s liability insurance policy (safety‑sensitive position).
Willing and able to work without direct supervision.
2+ years related experience in the commercial tire industry.
