Job Responsibilities
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals
Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and evaluation of financial performance
Scenario Analysis: Build and maintain detailed financial models to support scenario planning and strategic decision‑making.
Variance Analysis: Analyze variances between actual results and forecasts/budgets, providing explanations and actionable insights to management.
Investment Evaluation: Assess new and existing projects, investments, and assets to determine their financial viability and potential return on investment.
Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports and dashboards to senior management, highlighting key metrics and trends.
Process Improvement: Enhance FP&A processes, tools, and reporting capabilities to support scalability in a high‑growth environment.
Collaboration: Work closely with senior business leaders to gather data, identify business needs, and provide financial guidance
Strategic Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and cross‑functional groups, translating financial insights into actionable strategies
Technical Skills, Licenses, Certifications
Familiarity with financial statements and basic accounting principles.
Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Financial modeling
Data Analysis: ability to interpret datasets and identify trends.
Advanced Excel (complex modeling, pivot tables, etc.)
PowerPoint proficiency
Board level and C‑suite reporting
Bonus - ERP & Reporting Tools: SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar
Bonus - BI Tools: Power BI, Tableau for visualization
Soft Skills
Detail‑oriented & analytical: Ability to dig into numbers and explain variances.
Business partnering: Comfortable working cross‑functionally with operations, technology, marketing, business teams and leadership
Communication: Strong presentation skills for communicating financial analysis in a clear, impactful manner both to leadership and cross‑functionally
Adaptability and flexibility: Thrives in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
Problem‑solving: Ability to identify issues and propose actionable solutions
Ability to take direction and then work independently and manage deadlines with moderate supervision.
Ability to work in a dynamic team environment; comfortable with changing/scaling processes
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field with strong academic performance in quantitative courses.
2–5 years in FP&A or corporate finance, ideally with exposure to:
Budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis
Strategic planning and board‑level reporting
Bonus- Experience in Banking or Insurance
