Role Description As a Customer Relations Representative with Nickey State Farm, we are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing & Public Relations Coordinator to lead our agency's community involvement, public relations, and local event initiatives. This individual will play a key role in building brand awareness, developing relationships with local businesses and organizations, and generating qualified leads through community engagement and partnership development.
Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and execute community events, sponsorships, and public outreach activities that promote the agency's brand and services.
Represent the agency at local networking events, fairs, and charitable functions to build visibility and goodwill.
Identify community partnerships and co-marketing opportunities with schools, nonprofits, and local businesses.
Coordinate all event logistics, including budgeting, setup, materials, and promotional follow‑up.
Develop and manage social media content calendars and local marketing campaigns that highlight community involvement and agency achievements.
Assist with creating promotional materials, including flyers, banners, and digital content for events and campaigns.
Design and implement local marketing strategies aimed at attracting auto, home, and life insurance prospects.
Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners such as real estate agents, mortgage lenders, auto dealerships, and other local professionals.
Support agency sales goals through effective community‑driven marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong communication, networking, and relationship‑building skills.
Creative thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Comfortable speaking at community events and representing the agency in public.
Proficiency with social media platforms, basic graphic design tools and CRM systems.
Self‑motivated, outgoing, and passionate about helping people and connecting with the community.
Although not required, previous experience in marketing, public relations, event planning, or community outreach is preferred (insurance or financial services experience a plus).
