Account Executive - Automotive and Product Cybersecurity
We’re looking for a hunter—someone who thrives on building relationships from scratch and opening doors with potential customers. This is a full-cycle sales role where you’ll prospect, qualify, and close deals averaging $75K.
You’ll be our first dedicated services and product sales hire to build a repeatable motion for landing new accounts. This isn’t about managing existing relationships, it’s about finding the right people at the right companies who need what we do and making it happen.
Hybrid role based in the Detroit metro area. While we support remote work, this role requires regular in‑person customer meetings throughout Michigan and the Midwest. Expect to spend significant time at customer locations building relationships and closing deals.
Responsibilities
Hunt relentlessly: Prospect into product manufacturers and suppliers to generate qualified opportunities
Own the full cycle: From first call to signed contract, you own the deal
Build relationships: Develop trusted advisor relationships with engineering, cybersecurity, and compliance leaders
Navigate complexity: Manage 2-6 month sales cycles with technical buyers and compliance‑driven purchase processes
Collaborate: Work closely with our technical team to scope projects and deliver winning proposals
Report and forecast: Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in CRM
Required Qualifications
1-2 years of B2B sales experience with demonstrated ability to hunt and close new business
Track record of hitting or exceeding quota
Comfort navigating technical sales conversations
Self‑starter who thrives with autonomy and accountability
