What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Initiate operations, case management, and enforcement activities for the enforcement program
Handle routine investigative and enforcement matters, including hearings before the Commission
Provide guidance to filers for compliance and respond to inquiries regarding public disclosure laws
Draft communications and gather case evidence for senior staff and program leadership
Lead the development and implementation of new program initiatives to enhance compliance processes
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field
At least two (2) years of experience in investigations, regulatory analysis, compliance, auditing, communications, or law
Strong communication skills in all formats to diverse audiences
Proficiency in Microsoft OneDrive and Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
Demonstrated ability to analyze, maintain, and organize data
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Relevant experience in financial management or regulatory compliance
Experience in community involvement, volunteer work, or internships related to the field
Familiarity with political and lobbying practices, including relevant laws and rules
