Description Starting Pay: $40 - $45 per hour Shift: Rotating Hours: 6am-3pm, 8am-5pm, 2pm-11pm, 10pm-6am

What You Will Do

Lead preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of conveyor systems and production machinery to ensure continuous, efficient plant operations.

Execute major equipment repairs, fabrication, construction, and installation projects, including welding to food‑safe standards and precise mechanical assembly.

Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues through detailed inspection, use of precision measuring tools, and interpretation of mechanical schematics.

Fabricate and maintain critical plant components such as guards, doors, steps, shafts, sprockets, and mounting brackets using lathes, metal sheers, benders, and welding equipment.

Provide training and guidance to production teams on maintenance best practices to reduce downtime and ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols.

What You Will Bring

High school diploma or GED; two‑year degree in specialized maintenance trade preferred.

5+ years of related experience. Operating knowledge of machine shop related equipment, CNC programming and welding experience preferred.

Advanced mechanical knowledge, electrical and basic to advanced building skills.

Experience with high‑speed manufacturing equipment.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

#T1 Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Two‑year degree in specialized maintenance trade preferred.

Years of Related Experience: 5+ years of related experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to perform all duties of Maintenance I & II; Knowledge of PLC software and ability to perform minor PLC program adjustments on equipment and ability to troubleshoot and replace I/O modules in a PLC; Advanced electrical skills required such as ability to use a voltage/ohm meter, amp meter, ability to understand and use electrical schematic to determine control wiring, ability to check and troubleshoot single phase and three phase wiring, ability to check heater packs on motor starters and able to check for open circuit in control wing; Arc Flash trained; Basic to advanced building skills required such as ability to join PVC pipe, use an electric drain snake, mix concrete, grout tile troubleshoot dock leveler, ability to add/change oil & troubleshoot/repair an air compressor, repair & maintain forklifts and maintain plant aerial equipment; Ability to be certified as a boiler technician; Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to complete work orders, carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form, and complete required paperwork. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Mechanical knowledge and ability to expand knowledge and skills via on‑the‑job and formal training directed at increasing job‑related skills as mandated by management/Supervisor, including all required OSHA training; basic computer skills, including SAP Maintenance Module; Ability to obtain a valid forklift license; Ability to comply with all general safety policies and procedures in accordance with Company, Local, State and Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations; Must be able to lift ninety (90) lbs.
