January 12, 2026 – The Yosemite Renaissance Exhibition is an annual exhibit that offers an opportunity for artists inspired by nature and the California Sierra Nevada region to display and promote their art. The exhibit opens at Yosemite Gateway Art Center in Oakhurst March 2026, then travels on to other art centers in California through May 2026 thru March 2027.
For over 150 years, artists have played an important role in the establishment of our state and national parks, inspiring people to visit iconic natural sites, and to protect our natural resources. Yosemite Renaissance is dedicated to this ideal.
Eligibility The exhibit is open to artists worldwide. All submissions must be completed in English. Participating artists must be able to communicate in English, either directly or through an interpreter. The exhibit is open to visual artists and artisans working in all media including but not limited to: oil & acrylic painting, watercolor, pastel, mixed media, printmaking, photography, digital art, drawing, fiber art, glass, woodworking, jewelry, ceramics, and sculpture. No film, video, interactive media or performance. Original works only. Limited edition prints and other multiples (photographs and digital/computer art) are allowed. No reproductions. Submitted works must be created in the last 5 years.

Awards $4,000 in cash awards will be announced at the opening reception at Yosemite Gateway Art Center, 2026 dates TBD.
Entry Fee $25 per first entry, $15 per additional entry. Maximum of 8 entries.
Sales All works submitted must be available for sale. Yosemite Renaissance retains a 40% commission on sales. Once accepted for the exhibition, submitted works must be sold through Yosemite Renaissance, until the close of the exhibit.
About Yosemite Renaissance was founded in 1984 by the Yosemite Art Guild, a consortium of local Yosemite landscape artists. Their mission is to motivate artists to develop diverse interpretations of Yosemite and its varied landscapes. Since then, more than 4800 artists have participated in Yosemite Renaissance programs, setting the bar for creative excellence and inspiration in the Yosemite area. Yosemite Renaissance is a 501(c)(3) non‑profit organization.
