Job Summary
Deputy Sheriff is responsible to perform all duties encumbered upon them in accordance with the law, under the mandate of the Sheriff, in accordance with the guidelines set forth by statute in and for the State of New Hampshire.
Required Education & Experience Education:
High school diploma. Associate's degree preferred in law enforcement, criminal justice or related field.
Experience:
Five years of law enforcement experience required.
License/Certification:
State of New Hampshire full time certification as a police officer prior to hire by this office. Valid New Hampshire driver's license. Must pass an in-depth background check.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications Expected Work Hours:
Generally Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
