We are currently seeking a

Territory Manager – HVAC

to support and grow our Buffalo market. This is an

outside sales role

focused on relationship development, territory growth, and driving HVAC sales.

Position Summary The Territory Manager is responsible for managing and growing an assigned HVAC sales territory through face‑to‑face customer engagement, new business development, and consultative selling. This role operates primarily in the field and works closely with internal branch teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Schedule & Work Environment

Full‑time, Monday–Friday

Field‑based role with frequent travel throughout the Buffalo territory

Compensation

Salary range: $70,000–$85,000 (based on experience) plus commission.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow an assigned HVAC customer base, including key accounts

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Buffalo territory

Conduct regular in‑person customer visits to understand needs and drive sales

Promote HVAC products and solutions using a consultative, relationship‑based approach

Overcome objections, negotiate effectively, and close sales

Monitor territory performance, sales trends, and product movement

Collaborate with branch teams to ensure excellent service from order through delivery

Maintain strong vendor relationships and stay current on HVAC products and industry trends

Continuously build product knowledge and sales skills

Qualifications Required

1–3+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in an outside or territory‑based role

HVAC industry or product knowledge required

Strong communication, listening, and relationship‑building skills

Self‑motivated, competitive, and driven to succeed

Strong organization, time management, and follow‑through

Proficiency with computer systems including Microsoft Suite and sales tools

Preferred

Consultative or solution‑based selling experience

Experience managing a defined sales territory

Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams
