Responsibilities Summary This position transports residents in accordance with standard operating procedures of the facility and as required by Company and client contractual requirements.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Transports residents by Company van from facility to outside appointments.
Maintains the safety and security of residents at all times while transporting them.
Oversees all resident activities while boarding vehicle, transporting them to destinations and departing the vehicle.
Performs scheduled resident headcounts and completes written count reports in a thorough and timely manner.
Reports resident accidents or injuries to supervisor.
Reports all resident behavioral problems in writing to supervisor.
Enforces the rules of conduct with the residents.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
One (1) year professional driving experience preferred.
Valid drivers license from state in which the duties are performed.
Excellent driving record.
Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
