Materials Handling Aide 2 .

Work Schedule

Position is temporary, lasting 6 months.

12‑hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday; 8‑hour shifts on Monday and Tuesday.

Night Shift.

Department Description UW Medicine Supply Chain Management enhances our patient care experience by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise.

Position Highlights

Maintain an appropriate level of general, medical, and surgical supplies by effective stocking procedures.

Report to the local Supply Chain Materials & Logistics Supervisor/Manager.

Support patient care at a 281‑bed, community‑based nonprofit hospital in North Seattle.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining adequate stock and distributing general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment throughout the hospital.

Manage rental equipment using Supply Chain point‑of‑use (POU) systems.

Use handhelds, package scanners, and Materials Management Information Systems (MMIS) to ensure proper inventory and cost allocations.

Requirements

High school graduation or equivalent.

Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $21.62 – $30.74 hourly.
