Initial placement within the salary range is based on relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is part of our competitive Total Rewards package, which includes wellness programs, day‑one medical coverage, 401(k) matching and an annual performance bonus. Paid time off is earned according to the local policy and increases with tenure.
Responsibilities
Follow all recipes and control procedures.
Maintain consistent attendance and performance records.
Keep food cost within budgeted parameters.
Control portion size, minimize waste, present menu items according to specifications.
Maintain a clean and sanitary area at all times in full accordance with ServSafe guidelines and Pennsylvania state regulations.
Prepare weekly schedules and control labor costs.
Educate, train, and manage cooks to follow policies and standards.
Communicate with other culinary supervisors and managers to ensure efficient service and properly prepared food.
Perform all culinary job functions within immediate area when necessary.
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED; Associate’s/Technical Degree in Culinary Arts preferred; 3–5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests.
Ability to identify problems, collect data, analyze and draw valid conclusions.
Basic computer knowledge; ability to operate POS systems.
Physical Demands
Walking 30% of the time.
Sitting 5% of the time.
Standing 55% of the time.
Bending and lifting 10% of the time.
Climbing up heights in excess of 6 feet.
Lifting/moving maximum of 100 lbs.
