DESCRIPTION We are seeking an experienced and dynamic
ELA Tutor
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Language Arts, Reading and Writing preferably for K-12 grades and/or College.
We are currently seeking individuals to fill tutor positions in and
around Ridgewood, NJ . The Tutor will be responsible for meeting with students outside of school hours
in-person .
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions, tailored to the individual needs of each student.
Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and techniques.
Track and analyze students' progress and adapt instruction methods to meet their evolving needs.
Provide feedback and guidance to students and their families on academic progress.
Collaborate with Tutor Doctor staff and other tutors to share best practices and contribute to the development of teaching materials as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 2 years teaching/tutoring experience required
Bachelor Degree or Higher
Teaching credentials is a plus
Located within 10-15 miles of Ridgewood, NJ. In-person tutoring is a must!
Great personality with the ability to build rapport with students and parents
Ability to create lesson plans
Personal Vehicle and a access to the internet, a computer, and/or a smart phone
