Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee our first retail store in St. Louis with many more to come.
Responsibilities
Determine pricing for a wide range of electronics—including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and game systems—using software and referenced resources.
Negotiate pricing with customers while maintaining a professional attitude, demeanor, and business acumen.
Manage the store budget, including expenses and revenue.
Oversee inventory control and ordering processes.
Supervise shift management and ensure smooth store operations.
Recruit, train, and develop store staff.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Handle stock management and merchandising.
Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff.
Identify and test a wide range of consumer electronics from customers.
Close sales and generate intake receipts.
Administer all aspects of online transactions, including packaging and shipping.
Qualifications
Excellent electronics knowledge and experience handling smartphones, tablets, laptops, and game systems, including data wiping smartphones, removing iCloud accounts, testing game systems, Windows, and macOS usage.
Ability to quickly identify, test, and assess a wide variety of consumer electronics while communicating in a high-paced environment.
Strong people skills, able to befriend, relate, and build relationships with all types of customers.
Ability to remain focused in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and adapt from customer to customer, situation to situation.
Fast and accurate typing skills; accuracy is paramount when entering final purchase records.
Punctual, upbeat attitude, team player, and professional demeanor.
Ability to follow protocols and procedures.
Professional appearance and well-spoken in English; bilingual Spanish is a major plus.
Understanding of popular second-hand online auction sites and ability to reference/search completed listings quickly.
2+ years of sales and customer service experience.
1+ year of management experience.
Ability to remain on feet for hours (8+ hours) and lift up to 25 lb items.
Potential periodic drug testing.
Schedule & Hours Full time. Store hours: 10‑7 M‑F, 10‑4 Sat, closed Sundays.
Compensation $50,000 – $60,000 annual compensation target consisting of base salary and bonuses.
