Position Summary Join to apply for the (USA) Freight Flow Associate role at Sam's Club. This role is responsible for loading, unloading, and moving freight within the warehouse, operating a forklift safely, and ensuring inventory accuracy and customer satisfaction. Strengthen our team by helping, mentoring others, and communicating with impact.
Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics through action plans and using the Open Door Policy.
Operates forklift following company standards and guidelines, safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets.
Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations.
Receives, stocks, and organizes merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, managing inventory flow and completing required paperwork.
Provides member service by acknowledging members, guiding them through self‑service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting company products.
Maintains facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, hazardous materials handling, and reporting unsafe situations.
Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation, stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged goods, setting up displays, and monitoring security risks and shrink.
Ensures club pick‑up orders are filled accurately and staging orders within acceptable timeframes, performing occasional audits.
Handles inventory – tracks goods, maintains in‑stock levels, controls shrinkage, reports poor inventory practices.
Operates and maintains forklifts safely, reporting unsafe conditions or malfunctioning equipment.
Proactively identifies customers who need help with technology services, models technology usage, identifies shrink opportunities, and fixes problems promptly.
Complaints and leadership expectations: respect for the individual, act with integrity, service to the customer/member, and strive for excellence.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may be paid in premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications
90 days of prior experience with forklift certification.
Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
Customer service experience.
Retail experience.
Supervising a team.
