Job Responsibilities:
To teach at the Lex D. Walters Campus and/or our six county centers in Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville, and McCormick during day/evenings, online and in high schools as dual credit instructors. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching varying schedules to a diverse student body in accordance with the established syllabi, at a variety of locations, utilizing technology, and using a variety of teaching methods in instruction.
Under general supervision of the division dean, the instructor is expected to use their professional training to provide instruction and advisement to students and provide professional services to the College and Community.
"This is a \u0022Pool\u0022 position. Applicants will remain in a pool and will be considered for hire on an as‑needed basis."
Minimum And Additional Requirements
Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in a college discipline or a bachelor’s degree in a qualifying field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in teaching at a two‑year college is preferred.
A high level of professional skills in teaching adults is preferred.
